Rob Biesenbach

Biography

As a solo marketing/communications practitioner since 1999, I have served a wide range of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to entrepreneurs to major law firms, including AC Nielsen, Miller Brewing Co., Motorola and Mayer Brown.

Prior experience includes:

  • Vice president at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, where I co-founded the firm's global employee communications practice and helped numerous corporate clients transform their organizations through internal communications.
  • Press secretary to the Attorney General of Ohio, where I served on the executive staff and managed an aggressive, six-person press operation for a complex office of 1,200 employees, with 40,000 active cases.
  • Communications director for the National Association of Attorneys General in Washington, DC, where I developed programming that elevated the reputation and role of the state AGs in shaping public policy.

In 2002, I took up acting as a second career. I studied for three years at Second City and have gone on to perform in more than 100 theatrical, commercial and film projects. I have also written and produced several shows of my own works.

More and more, these two aspects of my career have converged, as clients seek creative marketing approaches that help their programming and events stand out from the crowd.
